A question regarding data collected by the UZO.
I noticed in Lawrenece P's new book " U-Boat war patrol"
(U-564).
Page 73 A photograph taken in the helm position within the conning tower.
Between the diesel dials , a small box with cabling running through it mark "UZO".
I assume ( hope I am right) that this cable via this connection box took information from the UZO directly to the topredo , or to the forward torpedo room ?
What was the method of feeding this information into the "eel" ?
Any insights would be apperciated.

This particular book , well worth buying.
