Does anyone know if there were landbased listening posts that could get a DF fix on a U-boat operating off the Atlantic coast of Florida in late 1941-early 1942? Apparently American listening posts were exchanging info with the British prior to the formal entry of the US into the war. Was there a British site in Bermuda that could intercept U-boat transmission and get fix on the source? I have the impression, however, that no American DF stations tracked the U-boats operating off Florida. Any ideas? Thanks!
