More questions for Enrique:
I would like to know more about the U-boat propulsion system; was there a generator on the forward end of the diesels or the E-motors used as generators to charge batteries?
How much power was avalaible on the propellers when charging batteries?
Amerian subs were thrue diesel-electric, It seems much simpler.
