Hi Steve,

Hmm. Tough one, because I am only familiar with a handful of plotting tools. Tell ya what though: get in touch with the the Foundation for the Promotion of the Art of Navigation in Rockville, Maryland. I am a member of this outfit and know some of the directors, all of whom are extremely knowledgable on matters pertaining to navigation and especially astro-navigation. John Luykx, one of the directors is an authority on most things nautical and if he doesn't know the answer, he will likely be able to point you in the right direction. I think John might even have a U-boat sextant in his collection.

The Navigation Foundation's address and phone number is:

The Navigation Foundation
P.O. Box 1126
Rockville, Maryland 20850
301-622-6448
301-622-6448 fax

Or you can click into their website at:
[home.netcom.com]

I also know that Horst Bredow, owner, operator and founder of the U-boot Archiv has some instruments in his vast collection. You might wish to drop him a line. His address can be found on this website.

If that doesn't work, drop me another note via this forum and I will see if any other of my contacts can help you out.

Gut gluck!

Robert
