Hi Tom,
The two diesels were MAN M9V 40/46 turbo charged 4 stroke, 9 cyl in line of 2200 hp max. cont duty rating @ 470rpm. they could be cranked up to 2500 hp @ 490rpm for short periods (abt 1/2 hr). Consumption abt 180 gr/hp/hr. Rgds, RB
