As you said, the power of batteries wasn´t controlled from the circuit breakers cabinets. It was controlled from the E-Maschinenraum (Electric Motors room) . The control panels that monitored the boat´s electrical power system were located above the motors. The purpose of circuit brekers was to protect the electric power system, not to control it.
I think you may ask for any photo of those cabinets, taken by any visitor of U-995 at Laboe. I´m sure there will be a visitor who took photos of each part of U-995.
I see it is very dificult to make a virtual U-Boot. It will be possible to vist that U-Boot in the future? Will you create a web site with that wonderful idea? I hope so.
