Hello Max

For a rather vivid description of damage control onboard a U-boat during a depth charge attack I can recommend \"Lone Wolf\" by Timothy P. Mulligan, pgs. 195 - 201 which describes U-515\'s last battle. In writing this book, Mulligan traveled to Germany and interviewed former U-515 crewmen so his description probably presents an accurate account of how it was done and what happened.
