First I would like to say:\" It is my fault!\"
The inscription on U-995 is correct. The rear levers (rib 41-42) are inscribed with \"Entl. Tauchbunker 2 u. 4 Bb.\" and \"Entl. Tauchbunker 2 u. 4 Stb.\". That doesn\'t mean that the other 2 levers (rib 40-41) are meant too, as I thought. These inscriptions belongs only to the rear levers. That means one valve for two tanks. The right rear lever evacuates the Tauchbunker 2 and 4 Stb. And the left rear lever evacuates the Tauchbunker 2 and 4 Bb.
The problem was that I didn\'t believed that there were one valve for two tanks. That makes a sperated flooding impossible, the only way is to close the emergency-valves!?
The levers before (rib 40-41) are the valves for the Tauchzelle 3. These were pulled to dive! That makes sense. So they didn\'t flood the Tauchbunker for diving.
I hope you get it.
Regards Fissi
P.S. Thanks to Thierry !
