Walter,
Just a slight correction U 234 was commanded by Kptlt Fehler not Fahler. He was formerly the explosives/demolition officer on the HSK Atlantis hence the title of his book \"Dynamite for Hire\". A flame haired chap who didnt know the meaning of fear, I believe.
