Hydrogen peroxide in torpedoes?

Hi,
I am not a big expert in submarines and their weapons. I have recently read an article, that made the following claims:
1. Torpedoes used by russian navy contain hydroged peroxide for a source of oxygen. No other navy uses this type of torpedoes because they are extremely dangerous.
2. British navy tried these torpedoes, and abandoned the program after a series of accidents.
3. Germans tried to used hydrogen peroxide for the engine of their subs with no luck (pre-nuclear era).
4. Russian submarine "Kursk" was destroyed by a faulty torpedo, which was damaged while loading. It allegedly had a leak, and we all know what happens when a powerfull source of oxygen meets oil.

Well, I understand that no one can give an answer as to whether claim #4 is valid or not. Do the other claims seem reasonable? Or is it a bunch of bul crap made up by journalists?
