Roger, Leif...I believe you're 100% correct.

I now have a copy of that document also, that shows the German torpedo with a 9,5 m forward throw and a 95 m turning radius. Judging by the authenticity of the document, you would have to go with 95 m. I believe Siemens was the manufacturer of the Vorhaltrechner. Siemens is still very much in business, perhaps they might be contacted and able to shed more light on the subject.

Still...I'm puzzled by the disparity between the KM and USN torp turning radii of the period. Hah...being puzzled is just another part of being old. :)
