According to Roesller "Die Torpedos der ..." first Zaunkonig was equipped with T IV homing device (2 microphones 25 deg from torp. axis) later with "flat nose" (4 microphones also 25 deg from torp axis). T XI was fitted with combination of microphones with direction 25 deg and 40 deg.
