The answer to Item 2. of your request above is listed in the book "Die Wende Im U-Boot-Krieg by J. Brennecke, on page 86 - published 1984. ISBN 3-7822-0281-3. It has the calculation with diagram. There is also a copy of a firing report from U-201 (1941) on the previous 2 pages (Pages 84-85).
