Hi navrady,
I'm really interested in getting one of these, and I know a little bit about them. I went to a museum today and I have checked ebay etc. trying to find one. I know a bit about it, but only what I learnt from the museum. There is a story that they possibly helped start WW2. Germany produced these spanners and sold them over Europe, and this money directly (amongst other things of course) funded the manufacture of weapons that Germany used to fight in the World War.
