Thanks Ken, I appreciate the response. Ia appreciate the link to the photo also...I had an idea of what defensive nets might have looked like, but the picture is much better.

I'll pick up a copy of Hitler’s U-boat War – The Hunters as I'd like to learn more about WWII U-boat operations.
