There is an oft repeated claim that the torpedoes captured aboard HMS Seal were instrumental (or at least important) for the solution of the German torpedo crisis.
As far as i can tell the primary source for that is "Will Not We Fear: The Story of His Majesty's Submarine "Seal" and of Lieutenant-Commander Rupert Lonsdale" by Warren and Benson.
Are there any other sources for this?
Or really any substantial source for this?
