The small refrigerator was aft of the control room bulkhead on starboard side. With the additional length of the VIID and VIIF, they had two larger refrigerators. The VIIF shows one across from the galley forward of the engine room. The second is aft of the control room bulkhead, but forward of the torpedo storage area. Both appear to be on the port side.
