Hey Guys, iam very curious if anybody of you has an answer for me.
Iam searching for any clue that would explain, how the observation periscope in a type VII u-boat was raised and lowered. I know that there were hydraulic motors which raised and lowered the periscope, but i cant find a single hint on how this was controlled. Was there a lever, a switch or something similar for that?
I hope that someone of you can help me out here.
Best wishes,
Nils
