Hi scot when you say nuclier boats of today have lathes on board you mean US boats??
i am a shipbuilder and worked on construction of the uk hunter killers hms triumph
and other trafalger class SSNs and the swiftsure predecessor and i am not %100 sure but non of the royal navys nuclears have lathes but i will find out hopfully as all the current boats were build in my home town
