Hi Ken,
I'm suspicious of anything on the web these days unless there's credible references. In this case it also didn't make sense unless there was a single occurrence where a wind gen was cobbled together in an act of desperation to charge batteries. Nevertheless, I wanted to be certain so obviously I came to the right place. You have to wonder about the motivation for planting false information on wind electric history or uboats, assuming it was intentional. Thank you for setting the record straight.
