Before I leave this site I would like to add that as far as I know, most of the crew on board the Nebojsa were re deployed to fight on land in South Africa. My father had ironically met up with many of the fighting soldiers of South Africa in Geelong, Victoria, Australia, and their statements and accounts of the war assisted my father in receiving a return soldiers pension under the Commonwealth of Australia at about 1982-83. I did the paperwork for my father and went with him to his war mates living in Bell park, Victoria. Australia and got them as witnesses to appease the government during his application.
He clearly fought alongside the British alliance. No doubt and I had confirmed this to the Australian government with many ex soldier's and marine's statements.
Need more info , contact me.
Kind Regards
Peter Emil Uzelac.
