<HTML>Hello,

On 26.10.1940 Polish destroyer BLYSKAWICA collided off Arran with a ship and had her stern demolished. What was the name of that ship?

Usually in Polish sources the ship is idenified as ARRAN of "Isles" class. However she was launched only on 16.11.1940 and thus in no way she could collide with BLYSKAWICA.

Back in early 1990s JJ Colledge mentioned in one of his letters a ship named KYMINHEA as the one I am looking for. Since then I was unable to find a ship that bore such name in 1940.

Thus again: what ship BLYSKAWICA collided with? Can anyone help?
