<HTML>Have discovered an late uncle, whom it appears served as a RNVR officer on HMS Stag during WW2,and I am trying to find out a little more about about the ship and what its role was. Despite extensive searches via several seach engines, all I have seen mentioned is two Xmas cards sent in 1941. My Uncle is buried in Beirut hence my belief that the ship was sailing in the Mediterranean around early summer of 1942.

Any information that anyone can offer would be much appreciated.
