HMS Loch Fyne

<HTML>My father served aboard the Loch Fyne from 29/06/1960 to 19/01/1962 in various locations including the persian gulf and surrounds. During this time he took many photo's one of which shows the ship underway, my question is that the ship in the picture has the number F429 on the side not the K429 shown in all references to Loch class frigates that I have investigated, his service record definately supports his being aboard the Loch Fyne.
I am curious as to why a search for F429 brings no matches?
Anyone help me out?
Also any ex Loch Fyne or Phoebe crew from 1960/62(Loch Fyne) or 1968/71(Phoebe) wish to get in touch, I have hundreds of photo's from shipboard time, shore postings and dads time in Malaya with 40 commando (1950 - 1952).
Thanks</HTML>
