<HTML>The `Capel' was torpedoed in the Channel Dec.26th 1944 at `tot` time, in sight of the coast of France. She lay suspended in the water for some time with no signs of survivors. We had to leave her not knowing how we could release any survivors who might be still on board. Anyone know what happened to her - did she finally sink or ...?I try to remember and pray for the crew every Xmas time...</HTML>
