Hi Sheila,likewise have just come across this page I am 90 y.o now and was just browsing,My Nephew Allan told me he had found info,re Maaloy, my brother Albert was killed with the ship aged 19 of my three brothers he was the youngest to have paid the price, he had been in the sea cadets in Brighton and played the big bass drum in the parades,he was so keen to join the navy,he made countless models of all the great ships H.M.S.Nelson was his pride,alas he ended up on a mine sweeper. Allan did the investigating way back,before computers became commonplace, thus why I am only just "learning"!!My Bro,s name was Albert Edward Gurr.Kind Regards to you,trust you are not covid affected.
