So from my previous reply, I found this news link. I bow my head.

It was end of an era Tuesday night at the Patterson Armoury as the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets Medicine Hat 145 held their final parade. The 72 year old bell from the HMCS Medicine Hat rang for a final time as the Sea Cadet’s returned the historic piece to City Hall where it’s been on loan from.

The Sea Cadets have been forced to disband after the local chapter of the Navy League of Canada was unsuccessful in finding parents and a panel of officers to oversee the regiment. The Sea Cadets have served the community of Medicine Hat for the past 49 years. The 22 remaining sea cadets will be forced to travel to Lethbridge or join either the Army or Air Cadets here in Medicine Hat.
