I have been looking for info on HMS Penylan on and off for years, having had a relative on board who did not survive the sinking in December 1942. I have looked at your message to someone called Keith and if the information is not personal to him, I wonder if you would share it with me please ? The name of the seaman who died was Carl Hunter, originally from Appletreewick but residing in Birkenhead. He was married to my Father's sister. I understand he was a Plymouth rating and his name appears on the memorial up on Plymouth Hoe. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you
