Hi, My grandfather was William Brown, Captain of the Empire Heath and died when it was sunk. My father just visited us out here in San Francisco, he is now 74. Whilst over here we visited one of the few remaining liberty ships. He talked about visiting my grandfather on The Empire Heath whilst we were touring the liberty ship and how he slept on the settee in the Captain's cabin. I would love to be able to get a photo of this ship to give my Dad as a present. If anyone has a copy of a photo of the ship I would be extremely grateful and my Dad would too. I realise this post is old but hoping that someone will see it.
