Hi,
I am new to the forum and was wondering if there are any Edinburgh survivors still alive? My late uncle was the a leading torpedo on HMS Foresight and was the man who fired the torpedo to finally sink the Edinburgh. He always told us they had no idea why they were ordered to sink her and it wasn't until 1980 that he found out the Edinburgh was carrying around £3 million pounds of gold which was payment from the Russians. Thanks. Great site.
