It may refer to the BLACKWOOD? both she and 'Retalick' were 'Captain' class frigates (not 'sub-chasers', a term not used by the Royal Navy). She was torpedoed by 'U-764' on 15th June 1944, but did not immediately sink, finally foundering the following day.
The 'Mull of Kintyre' was a maintenance and repair ship, completed in 1945 and was sent to the Far East in the same year.
