Allied escort emblems

Ok, so we know that many U-boats displayed emblems on their conning tower. How about Allied escorts? Have these ever been mapped?

I know for example that the 37th Escort Group displayed a pyramide on its stacks, and I would like to know more about the origin of this (and how it looked like).
