Hello Mark,
According to their catalogue The UK National Archive (PRO)have 3 photographs of HMS Gladiolus taken in 1939/40. I intended to photograph them and forward to Ken, would you like a copy?
Ken, there is also a small file in there concerning an action between HMS Gladiolus, other RN vessels and enemy submarines, dated 25-27 June 1941. Is it of any use to you?
