I am looking for information on HMS THORN a T Class Submarine which was lost with all hands on 6th August 1942 off South West Criete in the Mediteranian. She was engaged by the Italian patrol Boat Pegaso while attacking a convoy, All contact was lost. My grandmothers youngest brother Leading Stoker Robert (Bob)Reason was serving on the sub. at the time. I am looking for the coordinates of the wreck and also the water depth at the location. The site as far as I know is designated a war grave. I intend to seek permission from the war graves commission to attach a memorial plaque to the wreck and hold a memorial service in memory of my great uncle and the rest of the crew lost so tragically on 6th August 1942. "They gave their today for our tomorrow. May those brave heroes rest in eternal peace."
