Janet,

A quick search using the Google search engine found several links to HMS Wayland (SS Antonia).

One is actually a memorial site for an Essex County Constable but it contains a brief history of HMS Wayland, including tonnage and a small picture (most likely pre-war due to the color scheme). It can be found here:

Another site, the John H Marsh Maritime Collection at the South African Maritime Museum appears to have pictures of ANTONIA (Pre-war Wayland)in 1932 & '40 (#424 on the list). It can be found here:
