Hi Martin, I have a good friend who's father John Ramsay was a Torpedo-man at DUNKIRK on the Greyhound, aged 19 and from Tyneside. He was injured and shell-shocked in this action prior to it being towed back to Dover by a Polish destroyer.
If you join a free web-site [www.worldnavalships.com] there are other posts there, including a photo taken from the Polish ship, showing Greyhound under tow. THis belongs to MarekT, his user name on that site. His office is 50m away from the preserved Polish Destroyer Blyskawica.
I have also posted a photo of a painting I did of Greyhound for John Ramsay's daughter who lives in the North East, which I'm sure you would like to see. I hope your dad is still with us to enjoy the site,
Best Wishes, Graeme
