HMS SUSSEX

Hi. I was wondering if anyone could let me know if the HMS Sussex was known also at The Nuthatch. My parents were married on the HMS Sussex in 1939, when it was docked in Liverpool. My father was at that time a Paymaster Leftanant Commander Bernard Robinson RN ..I have a plaque that I believe was from the HMS Sussex and it has a blue background with a bird on it.
If anyone has any information on this plaque I would love to hear from them.
