My father served on the above from 22nd October, 1940 until probably well into 1942 since I have his service record which only details dates until Ocotober, 1941.
I have no details of your father-in-law but I do know that my father was with Richard (Dick) Douglas, who lived in Filey and
had a fishing boat which sailed from Scarborough,during all or
part of this time.
I would be very grateful if you could send me via e-mail,or even a copy of the original photograph,since I have no pictures of dad during the war. I would, of course, be very willing to pay any expense to cover your costs.
I look forward to receiving your reply in due course.
