Dave:

I haven't been able to locate an HMCS Viola or HMS Viola but have located an HMS Violet (K-35) which was a Corvette that sunk:

1. U-651 on June 29, 1941
2. U-641 on January 19, 1944

I'll keep checking for a "Viola" ship!
