My father served on the HMS Peterhead, a minesweeper, I believe it was one of the first ships to sail into Japan after the bombs were dropped at Hiroshima and Nagaski. I wonder if there is anyone out there that either served with Dad or knows of anyone as Dad is talking a lot about his time at sea and wonders what happened to his ship mates.
