This extract is taken from my recently published book:-
From the 14th February 1946 onwards - Monta Santa Luzia, Cape Villano, Mount Pindo, Carnota Peak, Isle de Ons, Cape Finisterre and Cape Torinana were observed. Identities were exchanged with two interesting ships - HMS Highway (a floating dock type ship) and HMS Moray Firth – an aircraft engine repair ship.
HMS Moray firth was underway but I am not sure in which direction and the location was off the North African coast.
Regards,
David
