Fred Myren USN
Previous to DDay,
"I climbed aboard the HMS Bulola, a headquarters ship for the Royal British Navy. The band struck up "God Save the King" and King George the sixth inspected including me."
Myren then returned to his ship and proceeded with plans for the invasion of Normandy.
Is there anything in your wonderful treasure that would verify this?
Myren is writing his life story and the Bloomington (Minnesota) Historical Society is working with him to find dates, articles etc.
Thank you for your help.
