Hi.
I am trying to piece together the war service of my brother Dennis Whitworth, who served on the Bulolo from mid 1944-1946 as a telegraphist. Unfortunately Dennis past away in 1977, aged just 51 years, and did not leave much information about his war service.
Any photo's of the crew members, or ship, would greatly interest me, as would any newspaper cuttings etc .
I have some photo's of the King George v1 and Montgomery onboard the ship, and also some photo's of when she hit the dockside in Algiers, but very little else.
If you can help in anyway, I would be most grateful, and of course re-emberse any costs involved to you.
Yours Faithfully,
Keith Whitworth.
