I didn't know that, and I don't believe that "most people think that
only the U.S. won the war" either.
The U.S. probably lost more lives, merchant ships and combat
vessels than any of the Allies, but no one is going around bragging about it, are they?
The Corvettes built by the US. for the Canadian Navy is rarely
recognized also.
