I know of some corvettes paid for by the US and built for the Royal Navy in Canadian yards but I am unaware of any ships of any type built by the US for the RCN. Canada was one country that did not accept Leand Lease in any form at any time and that is why the two escort carriers manned by the RCN - NABOB and PUCHER - became RN instead of RCN vessels.
Can you enlighten me on this subject please?
