Have only just picked this up so am unaware what the question was.
Heliopolis under command of Lt/Cdr Bailey RNVR was stationed at Lamlash certainly from 1944 working with RAF Turnberry as a target vessel. She was paid off in Southampton some time in 1945.She was certainly a converted yacht and believed to have connections with the Egyptian Royal family at some time.
