Hello Platon,
thanks for the answerr. The description of the attack is found in quotes, purporting it was taken from the PR, in the book "The Fighting Tenth", which has so far proved so unreliable I just had to seek confirmation this actually occurred.
It states damage sustained was such as to put the boat out of fighting order and that the radio was smashed, so the boat stayed in the area for 3 more days not to return to Malta unheralded ahead of schedule.
Do you have anything confirming severe DC damage to Upright following the sinking of Filzi and del Greco?
