HMS FOWEY (Sloop)

My father George Albert Williams served on HMS FOWEY from 1942 to 1946. He was an AA gunner. He served in North Atlantic convoys and in the Med.
Does amyone have anymore history of the FOWEY? or know anyone who also served on her?
Sadly dad died in 1988. I just want to trace more of his past in the Navy.
