Gina

I can only offer some basics:

EVADNE - motor yacht, built by Camper & Nicholson, Southampton, launched September 1931. Owner Charles Fairey of Woodlands Park, Iver Heath, Bucks.
183 feet x 26.5 feet 507 tons (gross)

Requisitioned by the Admiralty September 1939 and used 1939-43 on anti-submarine duties. Armed yachts would usually have been armed with a 12 pounder gun (sometimes a larger 4 inch) plus machine guns and depth charges. They were formed into groups of four - six and were typically employed in conducting local patrols off the entrances to harbours. Between 1943 - 45 Evadne was employed on the Examination Service (stopping and searching merchant vessels entering harbour). Returned to owner January 1945 (so I cannot connect her with depth charging a U-boat in February 1945 ??).

I regret that I do not know where she would have been stationed.

You ask about medals - "which medal was earned on which ship" - what medals are they ?
