hi all i am really pleased to see that thier has been alot of talk on the HMS EVADNE. i too am looking for information as my Grandad served on the ship during WW2. i have posted on other sites and it seems to be the same people which is good.

i can offer what i know my Grandad Leading seaman Albert Reeve was awarded the DSM for sinking the U300 on the 19th of february 1945. i have the DSM and letter from the Admiralty proving this also the request to see the king where he was awarded £20 for traveling fees. This was printed in the London Gazette on the 24th of july 1945. I am trying to locate a copy of this artical and i would sure be thankfull for any help.
